Small ad budget? Save your money

If you don’t have the ad budget to mount a decent campaign, you’re better off investing those dollars someplace else. By “decent campaign” we’re talking at LEAST five to ten ad placements in the same medium within a short period, even if the ads are small. It takes that many before your market even begins to pay attention to you. So what else can you do with your budget to get the word out? Effective publicity just may do the job for you. Send out some news releases and photos. Talk to editors and find out what they’re looking for. A strong publicity break can do more for you than a dozen ads.
